Hvar Island

The island of Hvar is part of the central Dalmatian archipelago, situated between the islands of Brač, Vis and Korčula. It is the longest and the sunniest Croatian island and one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Thanks to its mild Mediterranean climate, Hvar is characterized by gentle winters, warm summers and many hours of sunshine. Its untouched nature, a clear blue sky, crystal clear sea and lovely coves and beaches make Hvar one of the most desiring sailing destinations. Much of its coastline, especially on the south and west sides, is indented with numerous small coves providing small anchorages suitable for use in a wide range of wind conditions. Hvar is also well known for its rich nightlife, as a destination that never sleeps.

Elaphite Islands

Elaphite Islands

The finest Dubrovnik archipelago, Elaphite Islands, is located on the western side of Dubrovnik. The archipelago offer idyllic atmosphere, hospitality of the people and crystal clear sea with beautiful sandy beaches and hidden bays. The islands got their name from the Greek word elafos, which means deer. In ancient times the islands were apparently home to a large deer population. Three main islands are Šipan, Lopud and Koločep. Šipan is the largest and most heavily settled, with two little ports, Suđurađ and Šipanska luka. Lopud and Koločep are entirely car-free, and have true sandy beaches, very shallow ones, perfect for children and the popular local ball game called picigin. On the south side of the Lopud island is located Šunj beach with warm and crystal clear sea.
